2021 Lucero Syrah

Our latest Lucero Syrah has arrived, loaded with energy and flavor. Its vineyards are planted on a slope and are characterized by northern exposure. These factors have given rise to highly concentrated and strong grapes. The wine has a nose of ripe black fruits, combined with slight nuances of smoke and wood from being aged in oak barrels. In the mouth, you’ll feel the concentration of the grapes, along with a round structure, full body, and flavors reminiscent of plums and blackberries. The long finish reflects the wine’s 18-month aging, with an elegant aftertaste of cocoa. This wine would be perfect paired with a bitter chocolate cake.
