Barring unforeseen circumstances, we ship within 10 days of receiving your order. Shipping transit times vary by state:
- To Alaska and Hawaii, your wine will arrive 2-5 days after the ship date.
- To all other states, your wine will arrive 1-10 days after the ship date.
SHIPPING & RETURNS FAQS
We love being able to share our Kingston Family wines with friends and fans all around the country. As you can imagine, shipping such precious cargo comes with challenges. Below, you will find some answers regarding the shipping process.
You will receive a tracking number when your wine leaves our warehouse, but the number might not immediately activate. In some states, transit takes a little longer since your package will be passed from a temperature controlled truck to the delivery company. Don’t be alarmed-your tracking number might not activate until this hand-off happens, between 1-7 business days after your wine leaves our warehouse.
We try our best to ship our wine ASAP, but the weather doesn’t always cooperate. Your wine is shipped from our Northern California warehouse. We use a refrigerated vessel during summertime if the shipment travels cross-country, and we use ice packs when temperatures hit 80F or higher. Barring extreme weather, your wine should arrive within 7-10 business days of being shipped.
If you miss an attempted delivery of your wine, you will have 2 more opportunities for delivery. Please remember that someone at least 21 years of age must be there to sign for the wine. If you miss all 3 deliveries, the wine will be sent back to our warehouse in California. If this happens, please contact us via email at email@example.com to discuss reshipping options. You will incur a $25 reshipment fee.

Unfortunately, damages happen while wine is in transit. If you receive wine that is broken or damaged in any way, please take photos of the damage and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will immediately file a claim with the carrier and replace your wine free of charge.
We don’t want you drinking corked wine! In this rare situation, please let us know if you receive any corked bottles in your shipment and we will replace them immediately. You do not need to send back the cork or the bottle.
Errors can happen when orders are packed in our warehouse. Please let us know immediately, and we will send you the correct bottle(s).
