2018 CJ's Barrel Syrah

"CJ's Barrel" is named after CJ Kingston, our family patriarch and pioneer who came to Casablanca in the early 1900s looking for gold. An extremely limited special bottling, it is allocated exclusively to Old Corral club members.

By using a higher percentage of a whole cluster (100%), the wine expresses itself as it never has before. Red fruits combine with spices and graphite notes. It has an earthiness that we have not previously achieved. It has a very elegant mouthfeel with a lot of character and texture and a vibrancy that reflects the vintage, as never before.
