The newest vintage of Bayo Oscuro is balanced precisely and delicately, with a substantial maturity thanks to the long and cool season, along with the two winters it has spent in barrels. This wine has a timid and tight nose that opens up with time and aeration. Once opened, the wine demonstrates minerality, with aromas of gunpowder, coal, and wild fruits. On the palate, its powerful notes stand out, with elegant tannins that provide complexity and persistence. The aftertaste is long, and the presence of fresh herbs and wild blackberries give this wine considerable personality.
