Born for everyday enjoyment, our Tobiano Pinot Noir is less serious than its big brother Alazan. Tobiano is a blend of different parcels within the greater Kingston vineyard, and has been featured by the glass at respected restaurants such as Jean Georges in New York and the Four Seasons in London.

The 2016 has an almost Beaujolais-like, gulpable quality that would make it completely at home with bistro fare or a picnic. It tastes bright, light red. It smells fresh, a mix of herbs, flowers, and berries that are not too sweet. Fresh, tart and lively on entry. Read more in Byron's tasting notes ››

**(93 points)** Best Buy. The Kingstons farm vines on the clay and granite hills of Las Dichas, in southwestern Casablanca, close to the sea. That marine influence is clear in this pinot, with saline notes and shades of red fruits and flowers. The acidity is crunchy, the tannins firm and elegant. Easy to drink, this lasts on lively herbal notes and refreshing red fruit. - *Wine & Spirits* **(90 points)** Aged primarily in oak barrels but most are neutral. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. A savory nose leads off with aromas of dried herbs, floral bouquet, strawberry and tobacco. Forward drinking with bright flavors of red cherry and red berry boosted by lively acidity, displaying some persistence on the quenching finish. This is a welcome Pinot that is pleasurable without needing analysis. -*PinotFile* **(9-9.5 points)** Light to medium garnet in the glass, this wine smells of peeled willow bark, crushed herbs and raspberries. In the mouth, beautifully fresh flavors of raspberry and green herbs are bright with juicy acidity and silky in their texture. Finely grained tannins dance around the edges of the mouth, and a sweet perfume lingers in the finish. Almost certainly the finest Pinot Noir I've tasted from this producer in all the years I've been following them. Bravo. -*Vinography*
