A Note about Summer Shipments
Our shipping rates (above) are for ground delivery. During the summer, heat can potentially damage your wine during shipping. For shipments to California, Nevada and to the 3-tier states (Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts and New Jersey), damage from heat is not anticipated due to our shipping methods. For shipments to other states, we will hold your shipment if we measure temperatures 85 degrees or above at the destination. Your order will be shipped once we feel that heat is no longer a concern. If you prefer not to have your wine held, please contact us for safe shipping alternatives and their rates.
Is Your State Not Listed?
We apologize, but your state probably prohibits wine shipments from out-of-state and/or international wineries. Please consider an alternative state for delivery, if possible, or call us at (650)-854-4146 to discuss alternative.
The Fine Print
Kingston Family Vineyards will arrange for shipment on behalf of our
customer, to an address specified by our customer, provided that
Kingston Family in its sole judgment believes that such shipment will
not subject Kingston Family Vineyards to the risk of any sort of legal
action or other harm. If a customer lives in a state where the direct
shipment of wine by Kingston Family Vineyards violates the law, we
suggest that the customer provide an alternative address in another
state or have their wine shipped to a third-party storage facility in
a direct shipping-friendly state.
When Will My Wine Arrive?
We will process your order within a week from receiving it. For "Direct Shipment" states, your wine will ship ground and take about 2-5 days to ship. For "3-Tier" states, we must ship through local distributors to legally deliver your wine to you. The shipping process can take 2-4 weeks, depending the state. We will e-mail you with an approximate delivery date.
Sales Tax
Many states require the collection of sales tax on out-of-state wine shipments. The following is a list of the sales tax rates which we are required to collect from you at the time of sale. If your state is not listed, you are among the fortunate few!
AZ 9.05%, CA 8.25%, FL 6%, IN 7%, ND 7%, NH 8%,
NJ 7%, NV 7.4%, TN 9.25%, VA 5%, VT 7%, WA 9.5%, WY 12%.
